Cosmetic Tattooing Policies
At Pink Rock Cosmetic Tattooing, we prioritise the safety and satisfaction of our clients. Before booking your appointment, please take a moment to review our policies regarding cancellations, rescheduling, and payment.
1. Bookings:
- Clients must schedule appointments in advance.
- A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to secure an appointment slot, the remaining amount must then be paid via cash or card on the day of your appointment.
- No shows will be charged the full price of the treatment and not booked again.
- Appointment rescheduling must be made at least 72 hours in advance to ensure there is plenty of time for the appointment to be rebooked by another client.
- Late cancellations and no shows cost money & my precious time. My available dates and times are limited so please keep this in mind when booking your appointment.
2. Health and Safety:
- We adhere to strict health and safety standards to ensure the well-being of our clients.
- All equipment is sterilised and disposable, following industry guidelines.
- Clients with any health concerns or conditions are encouraged to consult with their physician before undergoing any cosmetic tattoo procedures.
3. Consultation:
- A consultation is mandatory before any cosmetic tattoo procedure; this takes place at the beginning of the initial appointment.
- During the consultation, we will discuss the client's desired outcome, assess suitability for the procedure, and address any questions or concerns.
4. Procedure:
- Cosmetic tattooing is a two-step procedure, which includes an initial appointment and a Perfection Session 4-8 weeks after.
- Only certified and experienced technicians perform cosmetic tattoo procedures.
- Clients will be briefed on the procedure steps, aftercare instructions, and potential risks before the commencement of the treatment.
- We use high-quality pigments and tools to ensure optimal results.
5. Aftercare:
- Proper aftercare is crucial for the healing and longevity of the tattoo.
- Clients will receive detailed aftercare instructions to follow post-procedure.
6. Results and Expectations:
- Results may vary depending on individual skin type, lifestyle, and adherence to aftercare instructions.
- We strive to achieve the best possible outcome for each client, but perfection cannot be guaranteed.
7. Refund and Guarantee:
- Due to the nature of cosmetic tattooing, refunds are not provided once the procedure has been performed.
- In the rare event of dissatisfaction with the results, clients may contact us to discuss their concerns.
8. Client Confidentiality:
- We respect the privacy of our clients and maintain strict confidentiality regarding all personal information and treatment details.
- Client testimonials or before-and-after photos will only be shared with explicit consent.
9. Minors:
- Cosmetic tattoo procedures are only available to clients 18 years of age or older.
- Proof of age may be requested before booking appointments.
10. Updates:
- These policies are subject to change at our discretion. Clients will be notified of any updates via our website or social media.

Eyebrow Tattoo Aftercare Guide
When it comes to eyebrow tattooing, it's important to set realistic expectations. For the first four weeks, your brows are in a JUDGEMENT FREE ZONE — try not to scrutinise them too closely. Initially, your freshly tattooed eyebrows may appear dark and tender, exuding a warm hue. This is a natural phase of the process. Around 7-14 days after your appointment, you might feel disappointed, especially during the "ghosting stage," which is a normal part of the healing process. This journey can be a roller coaster of emotion, but the final result will be worth it. Understanding and preparing for each stage of healing will help ensure your satisfaction.
Here’s a day-by-day breakdown of how to care for them:
Day 1: Gently dab your newly tattooed brows with the cotton pad provided every 10 minutes for the first 2 hours to eliminate any lymph fluid. Ensure your hands are clean and apply minimal pressure. Begin applying the aftercare ointment three times a day, starting from the evening of your appointment for 7 days.
Days 1-3: Embrace the darker and warmer tone of your eyebrows; trust the journey!
Days 2, 4 & 6: Cleanse your brows delicately with warm water and mild bar soap using the cotton pads provided. Avoid scrubbing or applying pressure; instead, gently dab the area with the moist cotton pad. Don't oversoak the brows or use too much soap when cleaning them, just a small amount to remove any dirt or bacteria. Let your brows air dry and reapply the ointment. Please make sure that when washing your face on any other day or in the shower we refrain from getting them wet. If you need to wash your hair, please use the eyebrow shield provided and tilt your head back.
Days 3-7: Your eyebrows will start to dry out and peel. Resist the urge to pick at them. As the skin peels away, the colour will appear very light, indicating the start of the "Ghosting Phase." During this phase, a layer of skin forms over your tattoo, making your brows seem completely faded.
Days 7-14: During the "Ghosting Phase," it's normal to feel disappointed, but this is a typical part of the healing process for eyebrow tattoos, including Feather Touch and Ombre' techniques. Despite any initial fading or apparent loss of pigment, the colour will gradually return over the next few weeks as your brows heal. Trust the process and remember that the true colour will emerge by week four but can take a little longer depending in the individual.
It’s important to note that the colour will fade by 20-40% from its initial shade when first tattooed. Any patchiness or unevenness can be refined during your "Perfection Session" 6 weeks later.
AVOID: Swimming, cosmetic treatments, sun exposure, saunas, and intense exercise for 7 days or until the scabs have naturally fallen off.
